Colossal 83x optical zoom and 166x Dynamic Fine Zoom

The Nikon P950 lens features a mind-blowing optical zoom range of 24-2000mm (35mm equivalent). This will allow you to shoot both close subjects and distant subjects not even visible to the naked eye. If you lose sight of your subject while zoomed in, press the Snap-Back Zoom button for a quick zoomed-out view, find your subject again and then release the button, the lens will zoom right back in and you can continue with shooting. If you want to zoom in even further the camera’s Dynamic Fine Zoom digitally doubles the zoom to 166x zoom (4000mm).

5.5 stop dual detect optical vibration reduction (VR)

The P950 lens features a highly advanced 5.5 stop optical vibration reduction system. This will allow you to shoot handheld at speeds up to 32 times slower than non-stabilised (non-VR) systems, and helps capture steady videos and sharp, blur free pictures in low light and when zoomed in.

16 Megapixel low light sensor.

The P950 features a large 16MP CMOS sensor with a light sensitivity range of 100 to 12800 ISO. The High megapixel count helps to capture exceptionally fine detail, and the high sensitivity allows you to capture clear pictures at night or in low light. Please note that 12800 ISO is only available when shooting in monochrome mode

3.2 inch Swivelling Vari-angle display

Flip out the large Vari-angle display and effortlessly capture photos and videos from creative perspectives—overhead, down low or just comfortably in front of you. Anti-reflective coating and6-level brightness adjustment provides a clear display, even in strong light

High-resolution eye-level 2.36m-dot OLED Electronic Viewfinder

Put the enhanced Nikon P950 2.36m-dot OLED Electronic viewfinder to your eye and the EVF automatically turns on and displays a beautiful and accurate high-resolution view. This helps greatly in strong light and makes holding the camera steady even easier.

Connect wirelessly to a compatible smartphone or tablet with the built-in Wi-Fi + NFC for instant photo sharing or remotely control your camera for unique self-portraits.

Full High Definition videos at 60 FPS

Record phenomenal Full HD 1080p videos with stereo sound at a smooth 60 frames per second. For fast moving subjects you can switch your recording to VGA (640x480) and record high-speed videos at an amazing 120 frames per second.

7 FPS shooting

The Coolpix P950 can capture great looking action sequences. Just hold down the shutter button and fire off up to 7 shots at 7 frames per second.
