The Sony FE 35mm f/1.8 Lens is great for capturing wide-angle perspectives, when utilising it on any Sony full-frame E mount camera. The ideal versatile lens for capturing everything from table top photography to the great outdoors. The lens can also be used on APS-C format cameras where it will provide you with a 52.5mm equivalent focal length.
Featuring a bright f/1.8 aperture, makes it ideal to shoot in low-light conditions and it creates images with a shallow depth of field.
The lens construction consists of special glass, where it incorporates an Aspherical element in the lens to reduce aberrations and field curvature, and still retains impressive contrast and sharpness throughout the image.
Built-in to the lens are Customisable focus hold buttons that locks focus when recomposing and it can be adjusted for other functions – according to your liking. Functions that can be assigned includes AF On, Eye AF, Aperture Preview, Shot Result Preview, or Bright Monitoring among others.
An AF/MF switch can be found on the side of the lens barrel, enabling you to swiftly switch between autofocus and manual focus.
The Sony FE 35mm f/1.8 Lens design features a dust-and moisture-sealed construction that lets users work in inclement conditions and rubberised control rings – ideal when handling in colder temperatures.
